DESCRIPTION:\nDaily guided walks will introduce you to the Park. Leave from the Visitor and Nature Center and follow the paved Gateway Trail to the Central Garden. Participants are encouraged to continue exploring the Central Garden or may return to the Visitor Center with the guide.  Distance is about 1 mile along paved; easy trails that are stroller friendly. The walk starts outside the Visitor and Nature Center at the alcove by the American flagpole.\n\n\n\n\nTopic focus varies depending on your guide and group participation\n\n\n\nAverage time is 60 minutes\n\n\n\nDistance is just about 1 mile along mostly paved trail\n\n\n\nNo dogs allowed on this hike\n\n\n\nWeather dependent (call 719-634-6666 for weather closure status)\n\n\n\nSpace is limited, registration required\n\n\n\nNo Refunds\n\n\n\nParking: During the busy summer months, the Visitor Center parking lot can quickly fill up.
