Earth Science for Teens
The world around us is filled with mystery and wonder. Through the power of science, we are able to describe why and how the Earth acts from large scale phenomena like the continents moving to small scale of how rain becomes snow. Join our Education Specialist Mike Bideau in this class geared towards teenagers (kids aged 10 through 14) that includes learning new things, performing an experiment, and encourages collaboration between young scientists. All classes will follow the 2020 Colorado Academic Standards for Middle School Earth Sciences.
The second class will be on Cloud Formation! We will be discussing what conditions need to exist for a cloud to form, how a cloud will form, and what causes it to rain. We will finish up class by creating our own REAL clouds in a jar using the knowledge that we gained!
