Afternoon Guided Nature Walk

Daily guided walks will introduce you to the Park. Leave from the Visitor and Nature Center and follow the paved Gateway Trail to the Central Garden. Participants are encouraged to continue exploring the Central Garden or may return to the Visitor Center with the guide. Distance is about 1 mile along paved; easy trails that are stroller friendly. The walk starts outside the Visitor and Nature Center at the alcove by the American flagpole.

• Topic focus varies depending on your guide and group participation
• Average time is 60 minutes
• Distance is just about 1 mile along mostly paved trail
• Parking: Please note that the parking lot at the Visitor and Nature Center closes at 6 PM. Additional parking is available across the street in Parking Lot #1, which closes at 10 PM. Please give yourself time to park and walk to the Visitor and Nature Center
• Please note that dogs are not permitted on this program
