Bighorn Sheep Day
Join us for our annual Big Horn Sheep Day!
We’ll have outside wildlife viewing stations where you’ll get a chance to see Bighorn Sheep in their natural habitat, nature walks, prize giveaways, live animals, kids activities, and more! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the majestic Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep and their role in our ecosystem. We invite everyone to come out, enjoy engaging activities, and deepen your appreciation for our local wildlife.
Organizing partners include Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, Bear Creek Nature Center, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, Friends of Garden of the Gods (FOGG), Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center and Foundation, the U.S. Forest Service, Nature’s Educators, Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep Society and Visit Colorado Springs.
