Earth Day Walk: Gateway Trail

Join Park Guide and Earth/Geology Enthusiast Jennifer for a bonus nature walk out in the Park on Earth Day! This fun walk will cover plants, ecology, and geology and stewardship of this beloved Park. Questions are welcome! The walk starts outside the Visitor and Nature Center at the alcove by the flagpole. Average time is 60 minutes but may vary. Distance is about 1 mile along paved; easy trails that are stroller friendly.

• Additional parking is available across the street in Parking Lot #1
• Please give yourself time to park and walk to the Visitor and Nature Center
