Homeschool Day

Join us for our first ever Homeschool Day at Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, April 30th from 10AM – 2PM! This special event is designed with homeschool families in mind, offering personalized nature walks, hands-on geology and history activities, and live animals! Explore towering red rock formations, discover fascinating wildlife, and connect with other homeschoolers in a fun, engaging environment. 

Advanced Registration Includes:

  • One Geo-Trekker movie ticket 
  • A 90-minute guided nature walk with a Park Naturalist (nature walk topics can be customized to your group’s interest!)* 

Free Event Activities Include (no registration required):

  • Meet live animals with Nature’s Educators
  • Explore Rock Types and Processes with Hands-on Geology 
  • Learn about the History of the Pike’s Peak Region with Hands-on History 
  • And more! 

*Please note: Children under age 5 are free and do not require registration. Registration is required for all participants age 6 and above, including adults. Please select only one walk time per registrant. Children must be accompanied at all times by a guardian.
