Forest Bathing
Unwind into nature’s wonders on a mindful Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) walk, a wellness practice rooted in Japan, connecting people with the natural world in a healing, personal way. Join Nature & Forest Therapy Guide Jane Scanlon among the ancient rocks and peaceful pines on the Garden’s south side on the ancestral land of the Ute and other native people. Creative invitations offered along a 1.6 mile gravel trail help quiet the busy mind, open the senses and imagination and immerse in the beauty and joy of this extraordinary space! We close sharing forest tea brewed from local plants.
The April 25th Forest Bathing walk will have a special emphasis on celebrating Earth Month!
