Colorado Rocks! An Intro to Geology
A lively introduction to the Park’s amazing geology. Join Park Interpreter Jennifer Heiny for this fun and informative presentation. This indoor program describes over 300 million years of geologic history using commissioned artwork, rock samples, and even dinosaurs! These ancient landscapes show a colorful past in southern Colorado of dinosaurs, oceans, and glaciers.
- Includes a brochure guide and sticker for the “Gateway to Geology” self-guided program.
- Meets in the Red Rocks Room on the 2nd floor.
- Tickets are sold on a first come-first-serve basis.
