Lost Structures

For the past two centuries many pioneers, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders have used the Garden of the Gods area for various purposes. Since 1998 there have been no structures in the Garden that are not necessary for the use and upkeep of the park. Before that, there were many odd buildings scattered amongst the rocks. Some were associated with park, and some belonged to private enterprises. Some we know a lot about. Some we have evidence of but know little to nothing about their origins or their loss. This program looks at what those structures were and what those same parts of the park look like today.
