Geology Walk: Ridge Trail

Join Park Interpreter and Geology Enthusiast Jennifer Heiny for a fun nature walk along the park’s Ridge Trail. Travel back in time over 300 million years through the Park’s amazing geology! While the walk will have a geology emphasis, other topics of the Park will be covered.

• Meet at Parking Lot 10 (South Parking Lot)
• Although less than a mile walk, this trail is uneven over rocks & stairs
• Wear sturdy shoes & dress for the weather
• Weather dependent (call 719-634-6666 for weather closure status)
• Space is limited, registration required
