Star Party

Join us and Colorado Springs Astronomical Society (CSASTRO) for an after-hours, lights-out star party in our parking lot! Our CSASTRO Members will be bringing out their personal telescopes and other observing instruments to share views of the night sky with attendees. The Moon will be half full (1st Quarter) and we should also be able to view the planets Jupiter and Venus as well as colorful stars, star clusters, nebula and perhaps a galaxy or two. The Gateway Cafe will be open and Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services will be on site with a nocturnal wildlife touch table!
