Adventure Challenges
Like an Outdoor Escape Room
These unique experiences are similar to an Escape Room – but it’s outdoors, active, and facilitated by our staff. Your team will compete against other teams (and/or the clock) by solving clues and puzzles, doing challenging activities, and simply having fun exploring and learning about Garden of the Gods Park!
Whether doing it just for fun, or for the challenge of friendly competition, these Adventures take interactive exploration to a whole new level!
Different editions (see below) are available. One is designed for families and a more
difficult edition is designed for adults only (age 16 and up).
The Perkin’s Challenge
Family Friendly Outdoor Adventure
Our Perkin’s Challenge is our family-friendly edition and is best for ages 8 to adult, but teams with younger children are still welcome to participate (strollers or child backpacks required for children under 6).
Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours

The El Dorado Challenge
Adult-Only Outdoor Adventure
Our El Dorado Adventure is our adults-only Edition and is limited to ages 16 and up in order to keep the competition fun. This edition requires a more intermediate level of problem solving skills, and will keep your team on their toes as you explore the Park. Optional Bonus Challenges create a lot of fun and make for much more interesting game play than just the fastest time. Challenges can take 2 to 3 hours to complete, depending on choices the teams make during their Adventure.
