Women’s History Hike

Embark on a gentle 90-minute hike through the Garden of the Gods Park to celebrate Women’s History Month!

Join us as we celebrate the stories of the remarkable women who shaped both the park and the vibrant community of Colorado Springs. Led by our knowledgeable Park Interpreter, Jennifer Heiny, discover the hidden tales and extraordinary legacies of these influential figures while immersing yourself in the natural beauty of this iconic landmark.

Your participation in this special hike supports a worthy cause – all proceeds benefit the Garden of the Gods Foundation, guardians of this National Natural Landmark, who have generously donated over $6 million to preserve and maintain the Garden of the Gods Park. Every step you take helps preserve and maintain the park for future generations to enjoy!

Each participant will take home a copy of “The Parks of Colorado Springs: Building Community, Preserving a Legacy” written by Nancy Lewis, former Garden of the Gods Foundation Board President and former volunteer CEO of the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center.
