Introducing The Visitor & Nature Center’s New Director!

The turn of the new year is always an exciting time: the holidays, new beginnings, resolutions to conquer, and so many opportunities await! Here at the Visitor & Nature Center, we have some excitement of our own to share, and that starts with us welcoming our new Director of Operations, Tracy Goodwin! With a passion for outdoor recreation, Tracy has a heart for Colorado that she can’t wait to share with everyone! Born and raised in Colorado, Tracy loves exploring the miles and miles of wilderness that the Colorado landscape has to offer. To this day, she remembers the sense of awe and marvel that she had when visiting the Garden with her family as a young child. That same feeling stays with her now, even as an adult, and she feels grateful to call this her new workplace. Between her outdoor adventures, Tracy also enjoys passing the time by honing her photography skills using Colorado’s signature wildflowers, and even practicing aerial arts! In her own words, Tracy says that she is “honored to help carry on the legacy and mission of the GOGVNC”.

So give her a warm welcome as we settle into the holidays, and we’re so glad to have her here! And best of luck to former Director, Christina Haywood, as she embarks on her new journey as Executive Director of the Garden of the Gods Foundation!
